Square Enix Develop RPG for Android, With Character Design From Tetsuya Nomura

This week Square Enix is releasing a new game for mobile that looks very interesting, but that more attracted me it is made in their other mobile games that have not even been released in Japan though. I mean the game Rampage Land Rankers, a dungeon crawler RPG with characters designed by one of the renowned Square Enix character designer Tetsuya Nomura (remember, not to be confused with Tetsuya Nomura that is).

Through the trailer above, you can see that Rampage Land Rankers presents the experience of playing an RPG that is quite simple with the movement of the character that looks like a board game. The fight took a turn-based gameplay style. You will also be able to use various types of goods to call other characters who can help you in battle.

Despite having an interesting gameplay, what makes me interested in this game is a visual landing cowboy style steampunk mixed with highly distinctive drawing style Tetsuya Nomura. Besides the music that accompanies your game in this game also feels like the music that will appear in the wild west themed game aka cowboy.

Rampage Land Rankers will be released in May 2015 in Japan. Through the trailer above, you will be able to more easily obtain a clearer picture of the overall game. Seeing how active Square Enix released their mobile games outside of Japan, I think we can expect a lot of their games this one will be available also in English for us to play.
